Scotty Rushing is a full-time psychology major at the Florida Institute of Technology. His current GPA is 4.0. Upon the completion of his academic studies Scotty plans to pursue a career in research.
Psychology is Scotty’s chosen field of study because it gives him the greatest opportunity to explore the mysteries of the mind and human behavior. He believes that the mind is truly man’s unexplored frontier.
As a senior in high school, Scotty was offered an opportunity to attend the University of Texas on a full scholarship but declined. This has been an enduring source of regret. His enrollment at Florida Tech is more than just an academic journey. It is a personal redemption.
